Learning to drive requires
With all of the above and lots of help from me, you will have all the ingredients for a successful test pass and a positive and safe attitude towards driving.
Private practice in a car with parents or friends can be a good way to accelerate your learning and gain more experience in between your lessons.
You can start to learn to drive as soon as you are 17 and have a provisional licence click here to apply foy your licence ,You may apply for your licence up to 3 months before your 17th birthday.
Remember though, learning to drive should also be enjoyable and it has been known that during lessons we may even have a laugh or two!
To gain your FULL licence you must pass two tests, a Theory Test and a Practical Driving Test.

The answer is IT DEPENDS on your ability, number of lessons taken and amount of private practice taken.
The 'average' person requires about 40 hours of professional tuition to reach test standard, however like many other instructors, I have taught people who have not needed quite as much as that and some who required a little bit more.
